This film documents the running of a flame powered zoetrope depicting the Buddhist tale of the Banyan deer at the Lindisfarne festival in Northumberland in September 2015. The audio is from the 1966 process music piece by Steve Reich 'Come Out'. This animation machine forms part of my practice based PhD research into the primacy of animation.
